During the 1800s, George Muller was an ordinary man who led a life full of sin--until he found God. After his conversion, he devoted his entire life to doing Gods work. By 1875 he had founded five large orphanages, which housed over 10,000 street children, in Bristol, England. Though he was poor, Muller never asked anyone for money. Instead, he relied solely on God to provide for all the needs of the orphans and orphanage staff. Throughout his entire life, Muller trusted in God to meet his every need--and never once did he go into debt. He felt that God gave his faithful followers the right to ask and claim. Muller believed that if he never lost sight of Gods promises, God would answer his every plea because He would not what was best. Muller also believed that we are nothing and can do nothing without God. This book is the soul-stirring story of a man who turned from a life of sin and learned to trust wholly in Christ. His life is a challenge to us today to be a true blessing to others through the prayer and service that are the natural result of abiding in Christ. Even in his 80's and 90's, Muller actively served His Lord. His life is a true inspiration for us today.
